Our Mission

Our mission is to do the job right every time. Our team carries out this mission every day and on every project by focusing on three core values: Safety, Quality and Productivity.

Our Approach

We believe that much of a project’s value is created on the front end during the design-build and pre-construction phases. We create opportunities for added value during these phases by developing detailed plans before our craftsmen ever step foot on your property and by finding remedies to the unique challenges your project presents. The construction phase is where you’ll see the fruits of our labor, but the design-build and pre-construction phases are where the seeds of success are sown.

DAW Construction Group has built a reputation for being a reliable partner that can be counted upon to get projects across the finish line. General contractors like Okland, Big-D Construction, and Jacobsen Construction team up with us time and time again because we have the employees, industry experience, and tools to get projects done right and on schedule. We shine in all phases of construction and offer professional project management, implementation services, and a level of craftmanship that can only be developed by continually working on the largest and most complex jobs.

We maintain our commitment to safety, quality, and productivity by staying abreast of the most important developments in our industry. We regularly receive manufacturer and industry training, we are certified installers of a variety of product lines, and we’re active members of the following associations:

Our History

DAW Construction Group first opened its doors for business in 1952 and has been establishing long-term partnerships with leading general contractors across the Western United States ever since. Most of our projects come to us through these partnerships, but we’re always on the lookout for builders who share our values and projects that meet our pre-qualifications.

Daw gained new ownership in 2004 and currently operates three specialty divisions: Drywall, Interiors, and Insulation. Our divisions regularly work together, which allow us to provide our general contractors additional operational efficiencies, but each of our divisions offers its own services and are managed separately as well. Once you’ve successfully completed a project with one of our divisions, we know that you’ll want to experience the rest of what DAW Construction Group has to offer.

It is an equal part of everything we do! The leadership team at DAW Construction Group is continually looking to improve safety for our workforce and at our jobsites. We are a Contributing Member of the Utah Safety Council and we received the council’s Award of Merit in 2017. Our Safety Program includes:

  • Monthly Lunch & Learns
  • Quarterly Divisional Trainings
  • Three companywide training programs annually
  • A fully funded Safety Committee
  • Supervisors trained in OSHA 10 or 30 Hour, First Aid, CPR, and AED
